The Hospitality and Tourism Department at Buffalo State educates and trains enterprising students to become leaders in regional and global hospitality and tourism professions. We educate and develop proven hospitality specialists for careers in culinary, hotel, restaurant, and related service industries with an emphasis on applied learning.
Buffalo State is home to the largest accredited four-year hospitality program in the State University of New York system.
Our Programs
Our programs develop proven hospitality professionals through distinctive educational experiences, including membership or leadership in student organizations, internships, scholarships, and awards for academic and professional achievements, and department-supported activities, such as the Ambassador Awards dinner, Campus House functions, and other events.

Campus House Celebrates 20 Years
Campus House opened as a teaching lab for the Hospitality and Tourism Department and a private dining club for the Buffalo State community 20 years ago.
